Ballet classes will introduce basic concepts and skills necessary for the children to understand the fundamentals of the art, while familiarizing them to movements and discipline.

Instructor Rebecca Conway-Langguth holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Dance with an emphasis in teaching from the nationally accredited dance department of Slippery Rock University. She has studied dance for over twenty years and has been teaching for eight years. She is a member of Dance Educator’s of America and has earned a high honor classification. Becky also own and operates Blair Dance Academy in Altoona.

She has received three gold medals and one silver medal for her solo dancing. She has also received numerous awards for her group dancing and choreography including a nationally recognized choreography award from 2004. She has completed classes in Childhood Development and Creative Movement for Younger Students.  She has been with the Begin With Us program for five years. 

Ballet classes are on Tuesdays at 11:15am for Preschool and 3:00pm for Pre-Kindergarten children.
